Activated charcoal has been known to be very effective on the human skin. Its chemical makeup allows it to draw out toxins and oils from the skin thus removing bacteria that aid in acne and at the same time helps heals minor scrapes and insect bites.
Tea tree Oil has a long list of skin benefits including helping with acne problems, decreasing razor burns, helping with eczema and psoriasis. Reduces scars and has been known to help with reducing boils and warts.
Handmade soap contains glycerin. Glycerin is a humectant that attracts moisture from the air to the skin. It’s produced naturally during the soap making process. Some commercial soap companies remove the glycerin from the bars to make lotions and creams. Without glycerin, a soap can leave the skin feeling dry, this is not a good for persons with naturally dry skin.
